About Dr. Hankins
Dr. Kasey Hankins, PT, DPT, OCS is an orthopedic physical therapist based in Houston, Texas. She currently treats patients in the clinic while also co-owning Ignite Clinical Institute, a continuing education company for physical therapists.
Dr. Hankins completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in Houston. She completed an orthopedic residency at Memorial Hermann, earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification, and remained on faculty as a mentor and instructor within the residency program for several years before switching to a private practice. She also served as a spine lead, participating in research, data collection, and clinical rounding alongside neurosurgeons.
Clinically, Dr. Hankins now works primarily with busy professionals pursuing conservative care—often those balancing demanding careers while trying to invest in their long-term health and avoid unnecessary surgery. Much of her work focuses on helping people navigate pain, build strength, and stay active across the lifespan without burnout or extremes.
