Dr. Melanie Mouzoon
Dr. Mouzoon is the Managing Physician for Immunization Practices at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. She earned her medical degree in 1982 from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston and also completed her residency there, finishing in 1985. Dr. Mouzoon speaks Spanish and Farsi.
She is a member of the Texas Pediatric Society, Houston Pediatric Association, International Society for Travel Medicine, The Immunization Partnership and the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Breastfeeding. She’s also a fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.
Dr. Mouzoon is married with two grown children and says “My nuclear and extended family is very diverse and I volunteer with organizations that promote the unity of mankind, such as the Center for the Healing of Racism and the Baha’i Community.
